Hi, my name is Mary-Ann and I am the author of the Crystal Kids Adventure series of books.

As a primary school educator, wife and mother of two beautiful daughters. I identified the need for a more engaging method to teach social and emotional themes to children. This insight, combined with my passion for crystals, led to the creation of the Crystal Kids Adventure series.

Each story introduces vibrant crystal/gemstone characters who embark on adventures that address social and emotional learning themes such as friendship, gratitude, diversity, resilience, persistence and much more.

With each story you will find theme based discussion prompts designed to inspire thoughtful discussion, helping children to connect with the story and apply its lessons to their own lives. Additionally, each story has a fun fact page about the main crystal/gemstone featured in the story.

These stories aim to provide light hearted entertainment but more importantly, have been written to support the individual learning journeys of all who read or have the stories read to them.
